William at Bat

This was William at bat during a showcase in Melbourne, FL on Saturday 12/20/08. After eight pitches and a 2 balls 2 strike count, he drove the ball back up the middle and hit the pitcher on the top of his thigh. He was 'safe', you can see his foot hit the bag before the ball goes into the 1st baseman's glove.

World Series at the Trop

We were at the 1st World Series for the Rays, last night. Unfortunately, Rays lost but it was a close and good game. It was a very exciting night.

First day of school

Hi All,

Well the boys are off to their first day of school (2008), as you can see William is driving, wow!

The hurricane is heading this way and it looks like tomorrow will be an off day, already. What can we do? We live in Florida! Now is the time to prepare for the worst and rejoice if Fay passes us by.

District Champions

Congratulations to Braden River High School baseball team! They are District Champions, this was a great accomplishment for a school which is only 3 years old and had 2 seniors.



Unfortunately, the ride stopped on Tuesday,4/29, night when they lost in the Regional semifinals to Bartow. It was a great season.

New Year!

Here are some pictures - Alan with his DVD player on Christmas Day, William at the hotel in Orlando on his birthday, and an orange Hibiscus plant in the front of our house blooming in December (beautiful!).


Update on the boys:

William and his school partners have won Website Design Districts for the 2nd year in a row. They will be going to State the first week in May. Good Luck!

William is playing Varsity baseball this season for Braden River High School. He is having a good time. Go Pirates!

Alan is playing with Sandlot Sluggers AAU 14U baseball team this season. He is also having a good time. Go Sluggers!

Both boys are working hard at school, progress reports will be coming home this week, we'll see what is happening.
